2019 Nomini Hall
Cabernet Franc

Our Cabernet Franc is made in more of an “Old World” style that gives it a medium body and low tannin. Oak is present, but not over-bearing. Peppery on the nose, this wine has lush, almost velvety tannins present throughout. Plum flavors dominate the front pallet but give way to a mineral mid pallet, and soft tannin dominant finish. Low in acid, this wine can be used in a lot of different ways on the table. More acidic dishes will provide an interesting contrast while more savory will compliment it well.

Winemaker Notes
A very well-ripened Cabernet Franc. While the varietal characteristic “green bell pepper” flavor is apparent, it is not over-powering. An extremely versatile grape, our Cabernet Franc is made in more of an “Old World” style that gives it a medium body and low tannin. Oak is present, but not over-bearing. Ruby in color. 234 cases bottled.
Food Pairing Notes
Low in acid, this wine can be used in a lot of different ways on the table. More acidic dishes (tomato-based sauces, seafood with lemon) will provide an interesting contrast. More savory dishes (rich & creamy sauces, duck, fatty meats) will compliment it well.
