The second vintage of our Tannat varietal, a wine club favorite.  Jammy and rich, the wine features strong red fruit notes throughout.  The heavy toasted barrel imparts a distinct espresso flavor, which sits somewhat on top of the wine but will continue to integrate throughout its long life.  More obvious tannins due it's being aged in 50% new French Oak, this wine has the potential to age 15 years or more.  Hard to come by, this wine can be enjoyed on its own or with a rich meal.  Prime rib and lamb are highly recommended.
