Seyval is a very vigorous variety that contributes more green flavors to the final wine. On the nose and palate, notes of citrus and green apple dominate this wine from start to finish. A light effervescence lifts the aromatics and contributes to the lively nature of this wine. A wonderful palate cleanser before tasting other wines. Wonderful with fresh seafood like sushi, fish tacos, and shellfish. It will pair well in a complementary manner with rich cheeses and fatty meats.

Tasting Notes
Fresh and green, the 2021 iteration of our Verde is made from 100% estate grown Seyval Blanc. Seyval is a very vigorous variety which contributes more green flavors to the final wine. On the nose and palate, notes of citrus and green apple dominate this wine from start to finish. A light effervescence lifts the aromatics and contributes to the lively nature of this wine. A wonderful palate cleanser before tasting other wines.
Production Notes
Grapes are harvested early, while they are still green, meaning they have lower sugar content and higher acid. This translates to a low-alcohol, tart, light-bodied white wine. It is lightly carbonated before bottling to give the wine its signature light effervescence.
Winemaker Notes
A verde style wine from a hot year, the grapes for this wine were picked very early (August) to preserve their acidity. This is a lighter, acid driven wine with low alcohol. It is a great aperitif and palate cleanser before a tasting or a meal. It’s also wonderful on its own during the hot summer months.
Food Pairing Notes
Wonderful with fresh seafood like sushi, fish tacos and shellfish. Will pair well in a complimentary manor with rich cheeses and fatty meats.
