2022 Rosewell
Made from 100% direct pressed Chambourcin and fermented in stainless steel this wine begins with aromatics of candied strawberry and cherry. On the palate, these red fruit flavors carry through from beginning to end along with a bright acidity that jumps out immediately on the front and lingers to the end. Surprisingly full bodied and dark for a rosé. This wine pairs well with salads, seafood, and poultry.

Tasting Notes
100% direct pressed Chambourcin, fermented in stainless steel. Aromatics of candied strawberry and cherry. On the palate, these red fruit flavors carry through from beginning to end. A bright acidity jumps out immediately on the front palate and lingers at the end. Surprisingly full bodied for a rosé, the wine is extremely sippable and will shine in the warmer months. A darker colored rosé resulting from a very hot and dry summer in Virginia.
Winemaker Notes
100% direct pressed Chambourcin, fermented in stainless steel. The entire winemaking process for this wine was done anaerobically, meaning oxygen was excluded to preserve color. Known for its natural deep red hues, this Chambourcin was not kept in contact with its skins at all before or after pressing, resulting in a light pick color and fruit forward flavors. The wine was treated with charcoal to remove excess color pigments
Food Pairing Notes
Pairs well with salads, seafood, and poultry. Perfect for sipping on by the glass and pairing with Mediterranean style dishes, especially homemade thin crust pizza and pasta with tomato sauce.
